Pop star Rihanna recently shot the video for her new single “Rude Boy” off her latest album Rated R. By the looks of the images, I can tell this video will be very interesting to say the least. From Zebra’s to meshed garments, Rihanna is dipping into her island roots with this new video.

Speaking of Rated R, here is what Rihanna said about it: “We made a great album, which was my intention in the first place. That makes this a classic album for me.”

What are your thoughts on the photos?

Sade’s new album “Soldier of Love” hits stores Tuesday February 9th but as a Singersroom user, you get to hear it here first.

The album was completed in summer of 2009 at Real World, near Sade’s home in the countryside of south west England. Unlike the Lover’s Rock movement Sade is know for, this album has assumed an eclectic identity.

‘Soldier of Love’ is only Sade’s sixth studio album during their 25 year career, and the first since Lover’s Rock in 2000.

Of making music, Sade says:

It’s not an easy thing to make an album. I mean it’s better than digging a ditch, but it’s not the easiest job. I always forget, you know, when I come back and think, ‘You know, this is so easy.’

Once I start working on a song, I sort of feel I’m on a boat, and the boat knows which way it’s going. Sometimes the boat will go off course, and I have to fight to steer it back.

While it has not been confirmed whether or not Reggie Bush popped the question after his team won the Super Bowl, we know Kim Kardashian is happy.

“I am so proud of Reggie and the Saints!” Kardashian told PEOPLE. “New Orleans deserves this – it’s such a huge accomplishment!”

“Reggie has waited his whole life for this moment. It came and they conquered.”

“Overcome” singer Alexandra Burke is ready to take on the world and not just the UK thanks to Leona Lewis. Citing Lewis, who won “The X Factor’ before her, Burke says the success of “Bleeding Love” and “Spirit” set the bar and opened doors for her and other “X Factor” winners.

“Leona’s opened the doors for people like myself to take the challenge to go away into America and Europe,” Burke told The Sun. “It’s great that we’ve come from the same show.”

Get your mind out the gutter! With her Starbucks, shades and sleeveless shoulder top, singer/actress Jennifer Lopez headed out to meet Rihanna for lunch at Miami’s Fontainebleau hotel. Rihanna got the party start before Lopez got to the spot, popping champagne poolside with her girls.

Jennifer has been staple visitor in Miami throughout the football season, regularly supporting her husband Marc Anthony since he became a Dolphins owner. Their team didn’t make it into tomorrow’s Super Bowl, but Jennifer’s is busy this afternoon in the Celebrity Beach Bowl.

Answering phones during the BET hosted ‘SOS (Saving Our selves) Help For Haiti’ telethon and concert Friday, Chris Brown and Mike Tyson gave the gift of time.

In honor of ‘Go Red For Women’ and ‘National Red Day,” Williams was snapped pulling the lever that lights up the historic building Friday.
