Pop/R&B Songstress Kelis was on the bill for Bestival 2011, which took place at Robin Hill Country Park in Newport, Isle of Wight. The former wife of Nas performed a string of songs, including hits “Milkshake” and “Bossy” during day four on the festival’s main stage.

Kelis recently came under fire for allegedly calling Katy Perry’s music “pure crap.” A tabloid newspaper claimed that she said: “Katy Perry is crap. It’s just pure pop. Her name might be on her stuff but that doesn’t mean it’s any good.”

Kelis’ rep quickly slammed the report telling Perez Hilton that her client never said anything like it, and pointed out that she hasn’t done any press at all in recent weeks.
