Comedian Katt Williams was sentenced to three years’ probation in Los Angeles Thursday (Dec 14) after pleading no contest to the misdemeanor weapons charge.
Williams was arrested Nov. 6 at Los Angeles International Airport after screeners found a gun in his baggage.
He spent three days in jail before being allowed to leave the state and travel to Atlanta to host the BET Hip Hop Awards.
A judge on Thursday ordered Williams to pay restitution, and gave Friday After Next star credit for the three days he spent in jail, Jane Robison, a district attorney spokeswoman, said.
