With all the drama Britney Spears has been facing for the last year, something finally goes right for Jive Records pop tart. Her new single “Gimme More” is turning into a hit at top 40 radio. The tune jumped five places to No. 20 on trade publication Radio & Records’ chart. On Billboard’s Pop 100, “Gimme More” jumped nine places to No. 16. The cut is expected to be released digital sale in the next few weeks. I guess Britney’s loyal fans are still holding her down.
