Singer Joss stone, who have sold millions of albums, says she hates being a celebrity.
“Celebrity seriously sucks and it’s not something you get to choose,” says Stone. “I never tried to go down that road – never wanted my face on the cover of my albums, for example – but in order to spread your music as far as possible you have to play the game. You give up a lot of your privacy, of course, and it really bothers me that the gossip columns only care about bullshit and never have anything to say about my music, good or bad. I mean, this is what I do for a living!”
That is part of the lifestyle Joss, what can I say…quit and play your music at home!!!

I have been working with Joss since she came onto the scene in the USA when she was 16, I can honestly say it has been my upmost pleasure working with her. She is still the same sweet gentle caring unassuming LOYAL truly talented human being I have met! I have been working as a makeup artist for nearly 30 years and I have worked with EVERYONE. She is the most REAL and SOLID person I have ever met in my whole career. I have had the honor to see her grow up, she is THE REAL DEAL. So all you disbelievers F#CK OFF!!! She believes in music and is not a sell out!!! Unlike the rest that have become BRANDS and not even humans! Give me 1 Joss over all those synthetic, fake, products you all call pop artist anyday! SO,SUCK IT BITCHES!

I am so sick of these random blog sites taking something that was mis-quoted and then mis-interpreted, and taken out of context and then using it it try to write a piece on the internet and make it seem news worthy. I have known Joss for a very long time, and am still a very big part of her life. You people reading this crap and thinking that you know who she shags and everything about her private life are seriously mistaken. Just because Dallas Austin smokes some crack and gets in front of a video recorder doesn’t make it true, you f*cking idiots. Basically your own lives are terribly boring, so you look for fulfillment by watching others live theirs and then celebrate when they trip. That’s real rich.
By the way, as for anything to do with “The Dozier Name” to do anything. Beau Dozier (25 years old at the time) should have thought of that before he manipulated and abused the mind of a 16 year old girl. That is screwed up on so many levels, and in addition we also call it ILLEGAL here in America.
Joss is a true talent that doesn’t have to put her face on a perfume bottle or be in a Chevrolet commercial to be happy. All she wants to do is make music. Real music, with real musicians and hopefully some will like it. Those that don’t can pick up a Jessica Simpson album.

I only know Joss from her work and interviews I’ve seen in media, and I’ve seen her once live in Detroit.
What I see is an extremely talented, fabulous performer, with an upbeat personality and great potential for a long career. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” and for me she is beautiful.
Dear singer who makes lots of money . If you don’t like the price you have to pay for your celebrity , quit the business !! Go back to being unknown singing in bars hoping for that big break . Just sell your music on the internet .

Joss gives so much positive to the world. Yet all these small minded fools can’t even let her say what’s on her mind with some smart remark accusing her of shagging everyone, fame seeking(???) or any number of baseless cheapshots. The reason fame sucks is the leaches it brings out.
Just saw Joss tonight in Phoenix, AZ. I must say she is one of the most inspiring, gifted performers I have ever had the pleasure of seeing (and I have seen more than my fair share of artists live in concert). Only Celine Dion comes close to Joss in terms of the passion displayed singing their songs, and make no mistake, Joss has even Celine beat on that one.
