The mother of 50 Cent’s son, Shaniqua Tompkins claims that 50 Cent was responsible for the fire that burned down her mansion in Suffolk County on Friday, May 30th. The 2.4 million dollar mansion was the center of a legal feud between 50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, and his ex. Tompkins was quoted in the NY Post as saying, “Who do I think did it? Curtis Jackson.” She also went on to say, “He threatened me on Monday that he was going to have someone visit me. My kids are in the house. Who would try to kill your own kids? He’s supposed to be all about being a gangster . . . That’s not a gangster, that’s a coward.”
The rapper was reportedly in Louisiana filming a movie when the fire occurred. He issued a statement saying that he “is extremely thankful that everyone including his son, Marquise, escaped the burning house safely.”
