Seems that Def Jam didn’t get the ‘Feedback’ that they were looking for on Janet Jackson’s latest release.  According to Singersroom News,  the record company has stopped promoting her album, “Discipline” and has no plans to release any other singles from the album.  When asked about the next single from the album, Janet replied: “That’s pretty difficult to say, only because of the record label at this point. We started off with ‘Feedback’ and the label and myself haven’t quite seen eye to eye since the ‘Feedback’ single so they’ve kind of basically stopped all promotion.”

The singer went on to add, “I’m trying to figure out a way to say this, but just to say it and to be quite honest, they just stopped all promotion whatsoever on the album so I don’t think you’re going to hear another single off this album.” 

Even with the record company’s decision not to promote the album, Janet still plans to kick off her tour in September.  Go on, Janet!  Don’t let them stop you, gurl!!
