Mos Def’s Ex Writes A Tell-All Book
Alana Wyatt-Smith, the 29-year old estranged wife of actor/rapper, Mos Def is penning a tell-all book. Yup, that’s right she is jumping on the ‘kiss and tell’ bandwagon. Since when did it become popular to put all your business in the street and get paid for it? In the book, ‘Breaking My Code Of Silence’, she makes explosive allegations that Mos Def was physically abusive to her during their marriage. Wyatt-Smith, a former stripper and seventh grade drop-out, names some of the other men that she’s been involved with including Kanye West.
“I disagree with putting names of people in there, just out of respect for their wives and children,” Wyatt-Smith told The Toronto Star. “If this was about making money, getting rich, I could have wrote a tell-all book, 10 times better than Karrine Steffans.
“People want to know about the biggest names in the NBA, who proposed to who, and did what, and this and that; I could have put some stuff in there that would have made it a number one seller within days. I use nicknames, initials, that myself and the gentleman would know; the ones named I got permission from.”
Wyatt-Smith also alleges that she and Mos Def, who has six kids by four different women, are still technically married. “He won’t sign the papers,” she told The Toronto Star. “He told my lawyer if he can’t have me, nobody else will.”
Wow, a former stripper, who only went to the seventh grade……..guess he didn’t really marry her for her brains, huh?
Well I hope she “spell check” everything!!! LMAO better yet does she know what “proof-read” means? And she’s writing a book…LMAO!!!!!! I had to have fun with that one.

I mean… I don’t know MOS DEF on a personal level or nothing like that but damn… another celebrity wife complaining about how dirty her man doing her!!! Damn… she could leave if its like that(him cheating on you, having outside kids and all of that)thats bad, if its true… you don’t need him to sign papers if its like that. If you stay separated(living apart for a year or more), the divorce will be granted to you by a judge, but if you expect anyone, including your husband to believe its not about money… that will be hard to swallow for anyone who knows better. I have been married, and he was an ass. He tried to keep me married to him but, that definitely wasn’t about to happen. I left, without anything but my kids, me, myself, and I. I even gave up my apartment to show I was both serious and strong, didn’t need him for money. I made it without him in the first place and could make it without him after the fact. Come on ma!!! Why didn’t you say any of this before when he first started making these movies, and blowing up in the spotlight? Women need to make better choices in who they deal with, marry, have kids by, and what they allow men to do to them, even in marriage!!!
