Seems Akon Didn’t Really Hit The Girl

Last week, a video of hip-hop rapper Akon apparently hitting a female fan in a crowd-surfing frenzy during a Carifesta concert in Guyana began causing an uproar, which lead people to believe that that was Akon’s thing now. Which is throwing or hitting people on stage.

Akon’s publicist has since released footage of the incident taken from a different angle, which they believe proves his innocence. (Akon appears to be hugging the woman at the end of the malee).
