Before Rihanna, Beyonce, Ciara and Ashanti…there was Britney. Unfortunately for her fans, Britney took a huge detour when she married Kevin Federline and was out of the POSITIVE limelight for some time. In that time, all the ladies mentioned above were able to come in and dominate the music business at one time or another.
Well, it appears as though Britney’s back and despite the fact that her album could’ve done better, she won three MTV Video Music Awards.
Word is Britney is supposed to be releasing an album in a few months. This time, it looks like she’s going to be her old self again. Could this spell trouble for Rihanna, Beyonce, Ciara, and others? There is no doubt that it’s been easy to dominate now that the machine that is Britney has been on hiatus. The question is, can they dominate when she comes back?
I think Beyonce stands a good chance. I’m not so sure about Rihanna. Rihanna has crossover appeal. Will she be able to keep her diverse fans or will she lose one demographic back to Britney?

Ashanti is already over. Beyonce has nothing to worry about her people will just make sure she never releases an album around the same time as queen b. And sooner or later rihanna and ciara will be over!
Britney is the darling of the music industry. The media, fans and the industry are routing for her to have a successful comeback. She was an overnight sensation when she came out ten years ago. Have you ever seen this girl perform, she is a cross between Madonna and Janet Jackson. She is fierce. She may not have the best vocals, but her stage performance is HOT.
Ciara has never really had the mainstream cross over appeal. Beyonce can carry her own, but Rihanna has no real stage presence. Regardless, if Britney can come back and be as big as she was when she reigned, yes, these girls should be worried. Plus this is still white America and Britney is there princess.
I cant lie I use to listen to some of Britney’s music..never bought a CD but the radio singles were okay. But to say that BEYONCE should be scared of Britney is a bit rash dont ya think..
Beyonce is an incredible vocalist and entertainer and I think Britney (was)a good entertainer and (maybe) she might be coming back but she still (in my opinion) cant stand on the same stage as Beyonce.
yeah they should as popular as bey and ri ri are a hot brit will move more units than they can and her support system is alot tighter if you looka around all the hottest writers want to be on her record because the potential for big sales is still there for her and her records recoup

Even though Britney is a good entertainer she does not have Beyonce’s Voice or Looks. Britney and Ciara can fight for best dancer but riri and shanti should just retire to wherever played out singers go. Sorry, Rihanna but it’s true.
I think that Beyonce and Rihanna have a better voice. But it´s true that Britney have one of the most populariy in industrie music and many fans. Sh´s beautiful, sexy, dancer, entertainer and came back after a dificult period of her life. For many people she ara been the “eternal princess”. I think that she can take the Rihanna and Beyonce places. Wait for next CD of the tree. Will be a great battle for the crown.
Rihanna, Beyonce and Britney Spears are all staying. They all have made their own mark on music, so they’re not going anywhere. Ciara, on the other hand, should get lost, cause she has nothing on 3 of these girls.

Funny…Britney’s wins the other night was planned. I heard rumours circulating from various sources, and even VMA themselves that the wins was planned cunningly to give the whole glam that night to bitchy Britney.

I like beyonce but she is becoming old news. See here everywhere you turn. Brit has been out of the game a while and though she doesn’t have the voice bey has, she is still considered a really good entertainer (although I don’t entirely see it) and people always want more of her.
