Beyonce Knowles and husband Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ carter were two of the celebrities that attended the 2008 New Yorkers for Children Gala at Cipriani’s 42nd Street in New York City, New York. The event included dinner, a live auction and various entertainment. Ticket prices ranged from a grand to 50K.
New Yorkers For Children (NYFC) was founded in 1996 by former Commissioner of the Administration for Children’s Services Nicholas Scoppetta, as the non-profit partner to Children’s Services. To date they provide supplimentary services to children living in foster care.
