Beyonce’s new album “I Am … Sasha Fierce” is expected to land at the number one position on next week’s Billboard charts and poppa Knowles is predicting bigger:
“I think we’ll sell 750,000 to 1 million copies [in the] first week. I know that’s ambitious with the declining market, but Beyoncé is so focused on transitioning from pop star to icon that we’re paying attention to every single detail.”

I really don’t think she’s gonna sell that much in the FIRST WEEK…. Pretty cocky. I can see it debuting at #1 even though I for one won’t help to contribute to that.
I totally agree wit u ChaCha. Its a damn recession. What part don’t they understand! Like the people gon get her 40 dollar album when they don’t have 20 dollars to buy food, please. (exeggerating a bit)but still. Matthew needs to get ova himself, I mean ova his daughta. I’m not saying she wont sell anything, I KNOW SHE WILL (don’t get it twisted, thats Beyonce were talkin bout) but thats a bit of a stretch. Just a tad. Imma still buy it but really, have patience. Its only thhe second day!
I know Beyonce will sell a lot but by her growing up and more artists are having their CD out, I don’t think she will sell that much in the first week. I also think because the country is still recovering from inflation and recession that nobody will recover and then go buy her CD. I would probrably first, go to buy some gas for my that only costs about a dollar 99 now.
1st off Congrats to Beyonce for releasing her Third Solo Poject…It shows she has staying power…But on the other hand, I can’t help but to go to Michelle Williams “Unexpected” Project. While it is a very solid cd, it hasn’t been getting the attention it deserves, partly because of the mismanagment, poor to lil promotion, and of course her group mates…Michelle’s work on her new album is great, its just ashame that her full potential will never be shown because of Matthew Knowles disregard for her solo project…Michelle please switch Managment!

I love Beyonce’ from a distance, and although she may never meet me face to face, I got her back wherever I go!
And if she never has another hit record, I will never go all fickle on her because she has presented the world with a legacy of marvelous music, great fashion sense, taste and style, and incomparable beauty!! All you haters need to crawl back under those rocks from which you have emerged! Be gone! Rubbiish!!!
