I somewhat agree with SouljaBoy. To say that “hiphop is dead” is a very strong statement to make considering all the great rappers that have been out and that are out. But reguardless of that statement that Nas made, nobody really took that serious. I know i didnt and do remember being a bit startled when i first heard it, but in the end, i didnt take it serious and in my oppinion hip hop will forever be here. Its never leaving. Its apart of african american culture and history. It aint going no where

Hip hop is dead now people are rapping and have you not notice that everyone and there mother is rapping now. Back in the day hip hop was a stand off the best of the best ya dig. But people need to understand that this is a new day and rap is alive now. And to be real with you even that is evolving because are not just listening to rap they are listening to all kinds of music because there mind is more open now.
