The new style, simply titled “Michael Jordan 2009,” kicked off Thursday, starts at $190 a pair.
Similar to the Air Jordan 11, Michael Jordan says “We try to create a certain style that’s different than anybody else and somehow we’ve always been able to connect to the consumer, to the athlete, to the little kids.”
Despite the price being a little tight on wallets during these trying times, Jordan told reporters “When you think you’ve built the best product, obviously you feel like it has certain value.”
“I mean, you don’t go buy a Ferrari and expect to get a Volkswagon price.”

Bull….Mr. Jordan does not need the money… The shoes are to high….They are being purchased by single mothers on a fixed income…or the Drug dealers for gives their runners a pair so they can stand longer and look stylish all day and night on the streets of chicago, making drug sales to the parents of the children who are in juvenile detention, committing the crimes in the inner cities. Shame on Mr.Jordan…
