She’s back ! Rihanna stepped out on the red carpet for the first time (Monday night) since she was allegedly assaulted by R&B singer/actor Chris Brown.
Donning a black bow tie and suit by Dolce & Gabbana, Rihanna looked full of energy while also standing on a serious pair of high black heels at the Met Costume Institute Gala in New York City.
According to sources, Rihanna was there to celebrate the opening of the Marc Jacobs assisted “The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion” exhibition. She was joined by Justin Timberlake, Jessica Alba, Heidi Klum and Eva Longoria Parker at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
In related news, Rihanna has canceled the planned comeback concert in Dubai/UAE due to the May 28th date not being “the right time for her”. The show would have been her first concert since the alleged attack involving Chris Brown in February.

I think she looks trendy and tastefully hot. What she is wearing is appropriated for the costume effect I am sure she was aiming for. This young lady can wear anything she wants to and has the ability to stand the test of time…. even of those who may not like it. Nobody and do this like Rihanna. Respect her for being on the cutting edgy and doing it well however SHE chooses. Not many people could wear this well, but she has the height, the built, the personality and the persona to do it all.
