The son of Reverend Run, founding member of Run-DMC and “Run’s House” star Jojo Simmons was arrested in Washington Heights, NY Friday.
According to officials, Simmons was busted buying marijuana from a street pusher but, what made it worse is that JoJo fought cops and is thus facing multiple charges including attempted reckless endangerment, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and criminal possession of marijuana.
Once he realized he was busted officials said JoJo tried to escape in his BMW with “JoJo” embroidered head rests but put his BMW in reverse striking a parked car, then drove forward striking another parked car. After his driving run failed, the MtV reality star fought with officers.
News of JoJo’s arrest comes just a few months after his uncle, entertainment mogul, Russell Simmons rallied against drug laws. In fact, Simmons called for the legalization of marijuana.

OMG! I just watched the episode of JoJo’s arrest and also read the account of it on TMZ Wow! They sure didnt show everything (i read) on tv. i sincerely hope he has learned a very important lesson here. this young man has the world in his hands and it would be a shame if he gave it up for somthing like this.
