Bow Wow wants out of his contract with Columbia Records !
In video below the rapper pleads with the label to let him go because they have not been doing their job…
“I’m going to talk directly into the camera because I know people are probably in the office getting calls saying Bow Wow was on here talking about he wants off Columbia Records,” Bow says in the video.
“Everybody in the office at Columbia Records, do me a favor. My fans, they see it. They recognize it. They see you guys ain’t working as hard as you guys used to work back in 2000. It’s a big difference, they see it…Can you please grant me this one wish? Columbia, can you please grant me this wish and let me go? That’s all I’m asking…please, please, please, please, please. Thank y’all, I’m out.”

Its what I’ve been saying! Sony/Columbia doesn’t want to fool with African-American males on their roster! This is why Jagged Edge, JD and Ginuwine have left the label, while selling millions, not after, but during their peaks! I hope they don’t mess Maxwell’s new CD up! “Pretty Wings” chart response is good, but its video looks cheap! Major retail outlets, still don’t have the artwork/graphics for the CD to begin presaling and pre-hyping! They don’t do this to their pop and country artists for their marketing plans are set waaaaayyyy in advance! Just an example of how they do their Black males, because Beyonce is fine at Columbia, although word is that they don’t respect Matthew as a man either! Maxwell is doing far more than his part with 106&Park visits and touring before the CD release date was even announced! They messed over Bow Wow, who’s CD showed growth, so let’s hope they don’t mess up Maxwell!
