R&B singer Lloyd’s 2008 album “Lessons In Love” may just be his last at Irv Gotti’s The INC records !
According to a recent interview with All Hip Hop, Lloyd is looking for change and that change does not include Irv Gotti’s label where Ashanti was allegedly dropped.
“I’m ready for a change,” Lloyd told All Hip Hop.
“There’s no bad blood. I just feel I need to take more control over my career and get a fresh start. Hopefully Irv can understand my position”.
News of Lloyd’s departure follows a growing list of artists looking for (or threatening) change and shedding their long held contracts including Kelly Rowland, Bow Wow, Raheem DeVaughn, and One Chance.
Lloyd is currently at work on his fourth studio album. While at The Inc, Lloyd released three albums including “Street Love” (featuring the singles “You” and “Get It Shawty”)
i think thats great he should move on
