According to Houston’s official website, fans can enter to attend Houston’s album listening party set to take place July 21 in New York or July 23 in Los Angeles !
To enter all you have to do is send an email and answer the question “Why should Whitney “Look To You” for a special listening session… in 50 words or less. But you must enter by July 13.

Hello, Evderyone. I just listened to Whitney’s new song. I Didn’t Know My Strength. I heard it last night and have listened to it since then eight or nine times. I love the song and have entered the contest. Whitney is surely back in a big way. Hope everyone has a Happy 4th. of July.
The naked honesty of this is truly meaningful. It’s also nice to hear Whitney so understated and subtle.

Don’t tell a story to the Real Whitney fans, Whitney isn’t back at least the “voice” isn’t. I hate to spill the beans everyone, but as a real Whitney fan the voice I have loved and known for forever is gone! Tears…..
Really The message of the song is great, but her voice is shot it is not the same and now I see why the “comeback” took so long. You can hear a little remnants of the old Whitney, but it’s far from what her voice use to sound like, it’s not even close. The truth had to be told. Please, Don’t shot the messenger! Be nice.

well i an glad that she is back and since none of us is god we can only say what and how we fill about her voice and it will not sound good to some and sound fine to others and compared to a lot oif the whack azz mess thats out there now she sounds good,and will get better with time, whitney can come half way back and still sing her butt off.
whitney makes me think about job, job losed it all , the lord restored jobs wealth and his happiness! in fact, the lord gave him twice as much as before, god also gave job seven more sons and three more daughters, and when job did pass on from this earth he was a old, old man and had lived a good life and thats what god can do for us not man, because man does not have the power that god has and i am glad that god is god all by himself, so you bring it on whitney, you wrote the book and build the road that a lot of people are still on today so all you have to do is just travel back down the road that you built and don’t take no short cuts and don’t let the devil DERAIL YOU.

Wow. Yeah Sylvia you’re such a REAL fan when you bash her like that. I think she sounds great. No, the vocals are not like the Bodyguard or even MLIYL but she’s singing the best she has in years. Take your negativity to another singer.
Her voice on this track is better than I thought it would be. The world longs for the Whitney of yesterday. I hope that we will have one more opportunity to be moved by her amazing gift. We will have to wait until the album is released before we know whether or if we will. This first song, although good, does not hint at her previous greatness.
Ok I luv the new song and will luv whitney just as much as I always have….but what if this was just a demo song that was recorded way back when she was having some voice trubbles and this was her way of keeping us content? and perhaps her voice is way better then it sounds in her new song? what if this amazing sound we all want to hear is really there and she is just gonna blow us out of our minds on sept 1st? who know’s ….some one as talented as whitney has every right to hold back and make this more huge then it already is….look at her now and see how she talks…a bit cocky and full of confidence. You are an angel of light. Your music came from God above and your two new songs put me into a river of tears. This has been the most difficult year of my life and I could not have envisioned myself to be alive at this point in my life. I have had trauma after trauma and I know that I was not built to crumble and I did not know my own strength. I continually took to him because he is the only one who brought me through this nightmare!!! You are singing as one of his angels. Please let him guide you for the rest of your life. You have inspired me so through these two songs. Thanks Whitney. You are on a divine mission, thanks from the bottom of my heart. Love your music.
