After plugging his record label on the red carpet at the BET Awards you’d think Joe Jackson would have learned his lesson and kept his mouth and wallet closed.
According to TV Newser, the infamous Jackson father may have received some or all of $200,000 in exchange for previously un-aired footage and an ABC News interview !!!
Just in case you might think we’re making this one up, here is what TV Newser had to say:
“ABC News paid upwards of $200,000 for rights to video featuring Joe and Katherine Jackson – and with it, the interview with Joe Jackson. A source close to the situation tells us the video was shot more than a year ago, “for some kind of reality show project.” ABC licensed that footage from the production company and then approached Joe Jackson about getting a current interview “to address everything that’s happened in the last couple of weeks,” says the source.”
Only a few minutes have been aired of the exclusive interview with Jackson, which means much more will be aired at a later date on ABC.
Sources say the reality video/footage could air for weeks across several ABC related networks.

What an embarrassment to the rest of Jacksons family! Joe is beyond a disgrace. I knew that man didn’t feel anything when Mj passed, nothing and this showed plus the promotion of his record company, etc at the Bet Awards. I was crying more because even in the news of Mj’s death his father still didn’t show any love for him or show any respect he only saw Mj as a meal ticket. Joe Jackson NEVER LOVED MJ, Joe Jackson is a sorry excuse of a dad. God Created MJ Joe jackson didn’t!
MJ is in a better place, heaven no more sorrow, tears, no more people using you, just pure Bliss in the presence of our lord Jesus Christ; I hope Mj is moon walking down the roads Paved with gold, singing with the Angels, and saying his famous words, He,He. Forever the King of POP will always belong to MJ!
