My concern is auto-tune based, but that she has been struggling in the diva shuffle! She brought down the house, 2 years in a row at the Grammys and still receives some low-key attention, but she has been facing heavy competition from Beyonce, Kelly C., Fergie, Miley, Taylor Swift, Pink, Carrie U., Leona, Rihanna, Britney and Lady Gaga; all of whom have won at least 1 or 2 awards of some sort during award season! Christina also opened last years AMA’s, but her performance got over shadowed by all the others as the show rolled on! All of these divas received heavy videoplay on MTV and VH1 as well, even though she has filmed some of the “best videos of any recent artist!” Her public rivalry with Mariah Carey isn’t helping her struggle either! We see far more entertainment news coverage of all of those divas, the good and the bad, as compared to her! She faces even more competition this Fall with Whitney, Mariah, JLO, and Toni Braxton returning to the airwaves! She is a power house vocalist whose management team and publicist needs to make sure she shines through the competition and not glimmer behind it!

Christina Aguilera will never need to prove anything to anyone. She can sing with her soul, her range is unlike anything we have ever heard. So people should just be greatfull and write good things about her and her work.

Christina, you’re very talented, although “Autotune is for pussies”? really christina? First of all, YOU used it on your first album, second of all, you need it for your upper register because your melisma in that register is always all over the place and off key. Refer to any christina aguilera song for proof of my accusation. The autotuned song she did is called “when you put your hands on me” Hypocrite!

so she might have done it the first time around for one song, she didnt have much control as a beggining artist, but shes taken control ever since and proven she doesnt need it, so i dont see why its such an issue…marcus..

That’s bull shit. Christina is a legend. She started fame at an age where her voice isn’t as mature as now. In other words Auto Tune. Now, seeing that she’s no longer a teenager, and not going through puberty; she is in no need of Auto Tune. Her voice is legendary.
