The controversial scuffle that has earned Jay-Z and Beyonce’s bodyguard, Julius, charges for destroying property was captured on video.
Unleashed on the net this week, the video reveals what truly happened that night and at the very end shows a tripod being thrown at Julius and later, him tossing the tripod in the Adriatic Sea. (watch below)
According to TMZ, the bodyguard is charged with destroying personal property and assault — based on a complaint filed by the reporter.
While I probably wouldn’t have thrown the tripod in the sea; I can see how annoying that sort of treatment can be. I understand that this is the media’s job but, individuals like Jay Z and Beyonce are usually okay with stopping for the cameras. Sometimes though, respect should be shown to these “human beings” (after all they are just like you and me) and let them enjoy their vacation with friends.
Apparently Julius is only smart enough to come up with the ‘I’ll flashlight your camera’ technique. He is whoafully undermanned and doesn’t appear to be that smart. Either you want them to take pics or you don’t. Unfortunately you are not in your own country…adapt…not allowing people free access and to run near his party in a free street is a non-starter.
thats very scary, and with just one body guard for them, in another country. theres crazys all over the world. and sometimes i know that the paps is a royal pain. but why did they not want their pictures taken. jayz and bey are like royalty, even over there and it would stand to reason that the people wants pictures of them. and didn’t bey preform in that country , when she first started on her tour, i trust that it all works out for all of them and wants them back safely in the usa.
it’s a very sad situation, that could be handled differently. first of all both beyounce and jay z realizes that wherever they go people will always want to take photos of them; that is a part of life the celebrities need to accept. secondly i belive it’s time that these photographers know where to draw the line and allow the celebrities to enjoy some private moment with family and friends.
