
Treston Irby, member of the hit 90s R&B group Hi-Five was among the victims in a series of shootings in Connecticut over the weekend.
According to the New Haven Register, Irby was shot five times outside a nightclub early Sunday and is in stable condition at a Connecticut area hospital.
Sources say the “Never Should Have Let You Go” singer was outside the Everybodeez nightclub early Sunday, when gunfire erupted.
Hi-Five was a multiplatinum selling act, with hits including “I Like the Way (The Kissing Game).”Irby was said to have joined the group, also featured on the soundtrack for the hit film ‘Sister Act 2′ , in 1992.
