The once happy couple, that at one point discussed engagement and a wedding are rumored to have been broken up for weeks now…here’s what NY Daily news has to say:

While all sources seem to agree that Nelly was not ready to settle down as Ashanti wished, others are looking to rumored time spent with everyone from model Melyssa Ford (in Miami) to Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton as women who might have come between his romance with Ashanti.
Nelly and Ashanti had been secretly dating for over 3 years, before confirming their relationship with the media in 2008.

I think it’s sad You have this break up and Nelly had one of the most sought out woman after beyonce. I don’t get why he wanted Ashanti to be a baby-momma instead of a beautiful supporting wife. Well i guess the saying goes we men don’t see a good thing until it’s gone. Now it’s clear the the last album declaration was about their relationship
