After a controversial incident at the home of the mother of his children in Georgia last year (see here), Lyfe Jennings says he was forced to stay home.

“People were fearful of booking me for shows; concerned with whether I was going to show up or not,”  Jennings told Eurweb recently. “So I got the chance to be around my kids day-to-day and I thought it was the right time to be a full part of their life. God works in mysterious ways. If the situation had never happened, I would’ve still been out on the road – a lot.”

Because of the fear and subsequent time spent at home Jennings believes his forthcoming album “Sooner or Later” will be his last.

He tells Eurweb: “I have three children and they’re at an age where they really need me there. I just can’t be on the road seven, eight months of the year. They need me in their life right now.”
