First Jennifer Hudson, now Carrie Underwood. The Holiday season is shaping up to be full of American Idol ladies and gents.

According to Fox, the American Idol winner (Underwood) has signed on to host its forthcoming variety special “Carrie Underwood: An All Star Holiday Special”. Also featuring American Idol alum David Cook, Underwood’s special will include performances of holiday classics and songs from her forthcoming album.

Dolly Parton and Brad Paisley have also signed on to participate.

‘Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special,” is set to air December 7.
