Update:  It appears that Vin Diesel will be in the forthcoming ‘XXX’ sequel… As reported earlier today, ‘XXX: The Return of  Xander Cage’ is due in 2011.

The next installment of XXX will not feature Vin Diesel.

According to Sify, Diesel quit shortly after director Rob Cohen quit the anticipated project over the summer. Diesel had been training for the flick for some time however, no statement has been released regarding his decision to split.
