Say What: Chris Brown Says Get Past It

Chris Brown on Hot 97

“Honestly I would like to just get past it,”  Chris Brown told Angie Martinez during one of two radio interviews Thursday.

Talking about everything from Oprah (who he is still “tight” over for not supporting him..) to Rihanna’s single, Brown came across as a young man anxious to move forward with his career and life — and it seems he wants you to let the past go too.

“Only me and shorty knows what went down in the car,” Brown went on to tell Martinez after being asked if he had been injured during the ‘incident’ in February. “I would like to leave it between us. I’m not saying nothing on her behalf or my behalf but I’d like to leave it at that.”

With not much else said, Brown’s music is speaking for itself. The embattled singer’s current single “I Can Transform Ya” is swiftly moving up the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Songs tally while fans are quickly adjusting their wallets for his fan appreciation tour. So I guess you can say a lot of people are over it –

What are your thoughts after listening to Brown’s interview (audio here)…. are you over it ?

Is it time to get back to the music ?

GOD is the only one that can Judge…..He is the only one that matters…Yes, we all have our opinions but that’s it… What he did wasn’t right but like he said he and Rihanna are the only ones that knows what happened in that car. Therefore, he is moving on, she is moving on, lets all move on…Everyone is entitled to make mistakes in life. Its was you do after the mistake and your outcome after it!!! Were all human and they are both young and learning…. MOVE ON!

“Only shawty and I Knows what went down in the car”

Apparently the court does too if you was convicted.. Even if Rihanna hit him first, there was no present danger to his life, unless she had a weapon.

He had no right to use that must force against her. Slap her 1 good time, maybe 2.. But he beat the hell out of her.

I actually brought his single “transform ya” but after this interview I wont be buying the album. He may say he accepted responsibility. But he contradicting himself too much in that interview.

  4. Mandy says:

True he didn’t but… we really don’t know what happened, Rihanna stated in a 2007 interview with Complex Magazine that she once hit her brother in the face with a bottle, and in the same interview stated that she and her brothers didn’t just fight but, physically fought, when asked what did her parents say in her hitting the brother with a bottle she said ” my mother was upset” well… I guess so. ( google search and read article for yourself)One thing he hasn’t changed and that is no matter how people bash him he won’t say just what happened in the car that night, it had to be more than a text message and another thing every celebrity that has been arrested has had their mugshot leaked to the press or as being the media that have access to it, why haven’t we seen him mugshot? Are they hiding something, he said he owe her the privacy… at this point there isn’t too much more that can be said about him… but, he won’t tell and that’s his business,Rihanna has people wanting her to speak out,Jay -Z, Oprah and women groups but… she hasn’t why? I will continue to support the both of them.

Well yeah you should let it go. It is not your past but Rihanna’s and Chris’s. Ya’ll are so stupid. I hope that one of you goes through something so embarrising and private as they did and some how you also get dragged through the dirt so we can talk about yo stupid asses.
