Former Bad Boy recording artist Shyne has been deported back to his homeland, Belize.

According to SOHH, after serving almost nine years in jail for his role in a shooting in New York that involved his then mentor Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jennifer Lopez, Shyne left the United States Wednesday. Deported by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Shyne will be welcomed by his estranged father and Prime Minister of Belize.
