Say What: Omarion Talks Rihanna, Dark Side

Omarion

“With God and the industry, it’s really dark. The dark side is having to get in, there’s a certain submission you need to have. Just like a gang [initiation], so to speak. You might have to do something against your moral code” Omarion, the Boom Box.

Speaking with The Boom Box recently, Omarion took aim at recent talk of the ‘dark side’ in the music industry. Admitting that he does not personally know Rihanna’s beliefs, the subject of original conversation last week, he does believe there are choices people make and are sometimes forced to make.

“I don’t personally know Rihanna’s beliefs but I think there’s a very dark and very sinister part of the entertainment business and I think it’s very visible. This is something that a lot of people don’t look at [but] Michael Jackson used to be a Jehovah’s Witness and I remember hearing that he wanted to separate from the religion — and this was during the time that he was doing ‘Thriller’ [which ended up being] his biggest album. Fast forward to now [and] it really made me think that there is a [time as an artist] where there’s going to be a choice. The[entertainment] world [dictates] that you have to be with three or four women, or do this in order to get that [and] I think it’s really interesting. With God and the industry, it’s really dark. The dark side is having to get in, there’s a certain submission you need to have. Just like a gang [initiation], so to speak. You might have to do something against your moral code. I’m not saying that it’s always this way, but when you’re someone that is young and you’re coming up in the industry and you really don’t have a grip on your morals it can be very dark. The game is just about over saturation. I don’t know if Rihanna [has fallen victim to those pressures]. I’ve never really heard her speak about it. I hope that she doesn’t believe in that stuff and I don’t think that she does, but I don’t know. It’s not just been a Rihanna thing, [there has been speculation] about a lot of artists.”

i agree with him, his not blowing up spots nor is he claiming to know anything about rihanna
his just stating the things he experience through the years. you see people like christina aguilera, britney spears who come out shy and angelic and then they start becoming famous enough to run things on their own that they will sometimes make fools out of themselves just to prove that no one has control over them when they do
the entertainment world is all about sales and competition
one would be lucky to have a good management team along with your family and friends around to keep you grounded and thats only if they let you
this topic isnt about religion its about our children and society falling prey to what they only see on tv media and news and not really knowing what these artist had to give up or sacrifice to get to the next level
power to the ones who keep god in their lives and who are always telling others about him
    the devil doesnt like that
he rather have these young artist tell stories of fake relationship of who’s dating who and who’s married to who, it becomes a status quo of who can where the most kinky outfits and break out of their cookie cutter image and be more provocative in their music
im all for working hard and accomplishing your goals but in the end losing yourself and your soul is not worth it
we all know that society, fans and the entertainment industry will suck you dry until you cant no more

in every walk of life its about selling and making money from small jobs to big jobs. from the entertainment business to every phase of our lifes.people need to know about jesus and then they would not be falling for stupid stuff thats put on youtube.if you was bought up in a good christian home and you fear god then you will not give so much attention to the devils work. when did youtube turn into the bible, who can say that this is true where is the proof. all of this demonic talk will not hold water and neither will it hold water. none of the artist out there are supposed to raise your children. rihanna album id rated r and thats for the grown ups, why are they not talking about all of the killings thats going on in out hoods and the streets. why are they not mentioning all of the school shooting. why aren’t they talking about these bloody movies thats our there right now with all of the killings, blood, etc. and then theres all kinds of movies on television with killings and all sorts of things going on that children see why aren’t they talking about that. why is there a demonic clain put with rihannas name , why now, for what why haven’t this been talked about before with all of the desturbing images in a lot of this rap music by some of the biggest artist in the business why are they trying to throw rocks at rihanna. and besides that tiffany has had a long time to talk and omarion is chris browns right hand man the man with the felon. rihanna is expressing her love, betryal and abuse and the hurt that she have endured and this has been hard for her and if you let people like o and tiffany talk they are some of the people that feels like chris is the vitim and rihanna should be locked up.if people do not like the music they have a choice to not purchase it are not listen to it. and if the music industry is so bad then why are tiffany and omarion still making music why are they still in the music industry if they feel that way. if rihanna song makes a person kill themself they was planning it already long before her song dropped.what they are talking about is found on youtube and there has been different things going on in the music industry since way back in th 70s the thought that rihanna is a demon worshipper is lame and insane. only gullible and weak minded people will fall for this mess in the first place. what they are saying is that if youtube desides to say that the world is coming to an end we are supposed to believe them and try and get ready to go. why isn’t youtube teaching people aganist following crazies like jim jones who was supposed to be a teacher and a preacher and led them people their death why didn’t youtube try and teach people aganist falling into the same trap in the future. its simple if you do not like rihannas music then don’t listen to it are change the station. and since tiffany and omarion knows who the devil worshippors are why don’t they try praying for them and stop trying to put people on blast for there artistic point of view people learn how to trust god and reconize the devil when ever he shows up. the devil is down here on earth with all of us because he was casted out of heaven so learn how to tell the different between entertainment and different artist artistic creativity.

the only reason he’s saying anything is because he’s not been musically relevant in about 5 years and this ensures that he gets a few minutes of shine on the blogs. i’m definitely not a rihanna stan (not close) but c’mon, this is ridiculous. the music industry is horrible and dark and evil but it’s good enough to give you the money to buy all the BS that you blow your money on.

same goes to you, tiffany evans.
