Full of smiles and beaming with energy, Rihanna made her way out to Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards at Carnegie Hall Monday, November 9.

The event comes nearly a week after her controversial interview with the magazine titled “Back On Top” and being crowned one of this year’s leading women. While reviews have been mixed on the feature, Rihanna kept her spirits up during the event until reaching the stage. Attempting to hold back tears on stage, Rihanna accepted the magazine’s decision to name her amongst other women like First Lady, Michelle Obama.
