JLS issued a statement sympathizing with fans who were injured during a chaotic concert incident over the weekend. According to Birmingham (UK) sources, 50 people were injured when a group of fans out of a roughly 40,000 in attendance audience became unruly and pushed toward the stage. “Gutted” over the incident JLS says the were sad to see fans injured during what was to be a great event.

“It should have been a great gig with other artists like Alexandra Burke and Calvin Harris. We are very sorry for the people who were injured… The safety of our fans is so important to us. We just hope that everyone who was injured has a speedy recovery.”
