The Jersey Shore cast continues to capitalize off their new found fame. While it is helping their  checkbooks, sources say MTV is not happy about the continuous partying and promotional appearances — in fact, they want the group to sit down …

‘”MTV has told the ‘Jersey Shore’ crew they can only do two personal appearances a week, and that all of their gigs have to be approved by producers,”  a source tells the NY Post. “They’ve threatened the cast that they will be fined if they flout the rules — but some don’t care and are blatantly going ahead to earn as much cash as they possibly can.”

Quick Thought: Get that money … times are hard.
